  • BUILT-IN MQA CORE DECODER: The VRDS-701T’s core decoder can digitally output MQA-encoded CDs at 88.2 kHz, great for those seeking a powerful and refined approach to high fidelity home entertainment. When paired together with a DAC that has an MQA rendering function, playback using MQA full coding is also possible.
  • PROPRIETARY VIBRATION-FREE RIGID DISC-CLAMPING SYSTEM (VRDS) TECHNOLOGY: The pinnacle in CD transport technology, this single-well CD Transport utilizes a VRDS derived from TEAC’s flagship HiFi line, Esoteric. And by eliminating the DAC function in this model, the internal circuitry has been optimized for larger componentry and enhanced digital output.
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE POWER: Independent high-capacity toroidal core transformers are dedicated to the digital control section and the CD mechanism. These two high-capacity toroidal core transformers enable the current to be supplied with greater stability.

  • VIBRATION CONTROL IN EVERY DETAIL: The entire CD mechanism is mounted on the sub-chassis in a semi-floating state to control the transmission of vibrations between the CD mechanism and the chassis, as well as from the external environment. Power transformers, which tend to generate vibration, are also mounted on a floating structure to reduce such occurrences. As if that weren’t enough, side fins for heat dissipation have been tailored so that each one has a different length in order to eliminate sympathetic vibrations too.
