Tekonsha's Universal Taillight Converter is designed for use with import and domestic vehicles requiring a taillight converter to ensure proper towed vehicle light functions when tow vehicle has a different lighting system. Adapts tow vehicles with integrated turn and stop lights (2-wire system) to towed vehicles with separate turn and stop lights (3-wire system). Works with incandescent bulbs only. Does not affect the functionality of the tow vehicle's lights. All solid state components in converter. Will not work with low-side switch, multiplex systems and LED bulbs.
