- 24 AWG, Average wire diameter: 0.0201 in. (0.51054 mm), 1.671 Ohms/ft at 68°F
- ALLOY: Nichrome 60 (60% Ni, 16% Cr, 24% Fe). Rated for temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F).

Nichrome 60 has a maximum operating temperature of 1150Â°C (2100Â°F). It has good corrosion resistance, good oxidation properties, and very good form stability. The corrosion resistance is good except in sulphur containing atmospheres. It is ideal for lower temperature applications such as: heating elements (hair dryers, ovens, toasters, kilns), model and high power rocket motor and recovery ejection charge ignition, heat sealers, polly cutters, foam cutters, resistors, rheostats, current-temperature controls, pyrotechnic ignition, lab inoculating loops, release mechanisms, and ceramic support in kilns. Made in the USA.
