This premium Matcha uses a Mikage granite stone to grind tencha leaves into very fine powered green tea. Only the highest quality Matcha uses this special granite stone. Ujitawara is a prime location for the growth of tea because of the balanced climate, dewy mornings, and location near streams and rivers, allowing the soil to nourish the tea plants with minerals to grow strong and healthy.
