Heavily armored Soviet ground-attack aircraft, late production type 3 variant with metal pattern swept outer wing panels. Kit features excellent engraved panel lines, subtle control surface fabric-over-frame effects, well appointed cockpit and gunner's station, optional seated pilot and gunner figures, basic engine block, multi-part cowling intake duct, radiator and oil coolers, detailed wheel bays and undercarriage, filigree control surface actuators and exterior fittings, segmented optional position canopy, single-piece 3-blade prop with separate spinner assembly, underwing bomb sway braces, 2 types of rocket launcher rails, FAB-100kg bombs (2), FAB-250kg bombs (x2), RS-132 rockets (x4) and preprinted canopy mask material. Decals and painting reference for 3 VVS aircraft: 'White 1' of the 6th Gv OShAP; 'White 07' of the 566th ShAP at Leningrad during 1944 and 'White 12' of the 16th VA at Berlin during April 1945 - includes instrument faces and seatbelt markings.
