Description

  • tesa 60150 Adhesion Promoter universal can be used to improve the adhesion of tesa's pressure-sensitive adhesive tape offering to various substrates including zinc, steel and PP/EPDM. It is especially recommended for our ACXplus product family. The UV-traceability of our tesa 60150 Adhesion Promoter allows easy quality control during the application process.
  • tesa 60150 Adhesion Promoter is recommended for several substrates such as PVC, PP/EPDM, ABS, zinc, steel or aluminum. The compatibility with other surfaces should always be tested accordingly. This product can be used to significantly improve the bonding strength of tesa ACXplus tapes. Testing shows significantly higher peel adhesion values.
  • Surface Preparation: Ensure the bonding surface is free from dust, grease, oil, moisture, and other contaminants. Clean the substrate with a lint-free cloth using solvents such as ethanol or isopropanol alcohol.
  • Application: Once the surface has been cleaned, apply a thin, even layer of the adhesion promoter using a lint-free cloth, brush, or sponge. Allow the solvents to evaporate for at least 30 seconds, up to a maximum of 5 minutes, depending on ambient temperature and humidity. Ensure the prepared surface remains free from contaminants before applying the adhesive tape.
  • Once the substrate has been properly pre-treated with tesa 60150 Adhesion Promoter, the bond should be established within several hours. Please note that due to the multitude of available substrate formulations in the marketplace, it is recommended to test tesa Adhesion Promoter prior to usage.
