The Acorn People Student Discussion Guide

The student's version of Talent Development Secondary's Discussion Guide to Ron Jones' memoir of his experience as a counselor at a two-week camp for physically challenged young people in the 1960s includes selected vocabulary words, highlights important literary devices and features, suggests literature-related writing and extension activities, and provides space for brief constructed responses to questions on each chapter. A brief author biography and suggestions for further reading are also included. This curriculum, developed at Johns Hopkins University, is used in schools across the country.
