When washed-up 80s rocker Alex Axx gets drunk and falls off a stage in Michigan, his manager sends him to a remote island for a radical form of rehab. He wakes up to find himself turned into a pretty sixteen-year-old girl. Soon he begins his comeback as pop princess Alexa Axelrod in a popular TV talent show. But he finds his new career far more complicated than he ever could have imagined.
