It lets excess hot air out without making your face cold and making the fishing gaiter with holes more comfortable to wear for longer times.

The neck gaitor comes to a point at the front to cover more chest area and tucks into a shirt nexk. The material is not windproof. Although because it is a solid fabric it will provide some wind protection but we do not recommend this as a wind block product.

However, this UPF neck gaiter provides sun protection against harmful uv rays. A SPF neck gaiter has the same UV protection you can expect from a product made of spandex.
