The Gospel of Thomas was found in the Nag Hammadi excavations in 1947-1949, in a Coptic manuscript that dates from the 4th century. The Gospel of the Birth of Mary is about her childhood and the Acts of Pontius Pilate is an apocryphal book about the death of Christ.
