The Mystery of Michael Black

Something strange happened in the town of Sunbury. A disease hopped a train and arrived on July 2. Seventeen days later, all of the crops were dead, including fifteen children. On July 18, a miracle arrived in the form of a meteorite and the disease was stopped. No one knew where the disease originated. No one knew who to blame.

Not until Michael Black arrived, five years later, a writer with a past as mysterious as Sunbury's own history. A man who could do things that defied explanation. A man who could give life back to their fifteen children. After all, he had written the book.
