The Orchard

Lizz Wright's third album for the Verve Music Group is her most personal statement to date with music from the heart and for the soul, inspired by a series of striking photos and memories of the rural Georgia landscape of her youth. With producer Craig Street and songwriting partner Toshi Reagon, Wright creates another genre transcending recording of emotional honesty, that extends her critically acclaimed work on Salt (2003) and Dreaming Wide Awake (2005). The Orchard features performances by Joey Burns & John Convertino of Calexico.
