The Original GoBible - New King James Version

The Original GoBible is a hand-held, portable device preloaded with the entire audio version of the New King James Version of the Bible (Word of Promise recording). The Original GoBible does not interact with a PC; all of its content, over 70 hours of audio, has been downloaded onto the device. The Original GoBible for the first time anywhere allows the user to search and begin play at any of the over 31,000 verses in the Bible. All current recordings of the Bible break down the listening option to the chapter level. We understand that people talk about, think about and study the Bible at the verse level. Therefore, we have cut the audio to the verse level and indexed it so you may search for and begin play at any verse point in the Bible. This has never been done before with the audio version of the Bible and the Original GoBible is the only device in the world that has this feature!

The "Topic Index" has been expanded and made more comprehensive. Additionally, on this device, we added a Holiday/Events index, which aids the user in finding specific Scripture passages of particular spiritual relevance to 15 important days and events which affect our lives. We have also expanded our Bookmark cache to hold thirty-six bookmarks. As with all our devices, this unit contains our Story Index of over 225 of the most popular Bible stories. Additionally, the user has the option of following the Original GoBible's "Bible-in-a-Year" plan for listening to the entire Bible in 365 days.

The GoBible® is operated with one AAA battery that can operate the device for over 20 hours. The unit is approximately 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches by .5 inch. The screen size measures 2.4 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 3.2 ounces. Included in the box are an Original GoBible® device, headphones, a carrying case, and a battery.
