- The Drop Support Harness is a unique, upper body support belt that wraps around the waist, chest and torso, with an attached central handle. The vertical support handle allows the assistant to provide a better way for supporting an adult or child who is at high risk for falls when walking.
- The Small Drop Support Harness was developed for people who are at a high risk for falls due to epilepsy, seizures, during gait training and rehabilitation, or any condition when support is needed. The vertical support handle, located on the back, runs the length of the torso instead of horizontal like a standard gait belt. The added support straps over the shoulders and chest area help the assistant in better managing and stopping forward falls.
- Measure from C7 Vertebrae to the natural waistline to determine torso length. Small fits users who have a shorter torso length of 9 to 12 inches long, weighing up to 150 pounds and the waist belt expands to fit up to 30 inches. Medium fits users who have an average torso length of 13 to 17 inches long, expands up to 48 inch waist. Large fits adults weighing up to 250 pounds and expands up to 48 inch waist
- Materials: Heavy weight polypropylene webbing. Weight limit: 250 lbs. Care: Clean with water and a mild soap solution. Do not use bleach or bleach solutions. Wipe off hardware with a clean, dry cloth, and hang to air dry.
