This Thermal Edge NE08012612 indoor enclosure air conditioner cools air at 8,000 Btu per hour with a 120 VAC/60 Hz power supply. It has a narrow body style that fits on a 12" wide enclosure and a sloped top to allow for water runoff. The NEMA Type 12 enclosure provides protection against the ingress of nonhazardous indoor elements such as dirt, dust, lint, dripping water, and light splashing. The enclosure air conditioner has a condensate evaporation system that precools refrigerant to lower the running amps, which conserves energy, and it evaporates and vents condensation so no separate drip line is required. A thermal expansion valve balances and controls the refrigerant flow for efficiency over a wide temperature and load range. The unit has a programmable digital controller with built-in alerts. It is UL Listed and made in USA.
