Jelinek Cork Thick Bulletin Board Strips (8 Pack) 36 x 3.5 x 0.5 Inches

Set of eight (8) composition cork strips. Each strip is 36" long x 3.5" wide x 1/2" thick. Length and width have a 1/4" tolerance. Edges are rough cut and cork strip size is slightly variable. Medium quality cork grain is used. There are many applications for this product such as creating a 3-1/2" cork board strip around the perimeter of a room, using the cork as a pin or needle holder when sewing or crafting, model train track bed, and many more. Most common use is as a cork bulletin board strip in schools, offices, churches, and homes. Many strips on the market are only 1/4" thick or less which is thinner than the average pushpin. These strips are 1/2" thick and made entirely of cork. As the strips are rough cut, you will see visible seams between them if installing them side-by-side. These multi purpose cork strips do not have an adhesive backing but can be more permanently installed by using contact cement (purchased separately). Contact cement is brushed on to both the cork and the application surface and allowed to dry (approx 40 minutes) before bonding the cork to the surface. After it has dried, carefully position the cork onto the application surface. When pressure is applied the two items will form a permanent bond.
