Thuya Burl Knife Handle Scales (Each Pair is Unique) 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8" Bookmatched Set [EW181]

- Dark brown with slightly chatoyant highlights of honey, featuring a wild, curvy grain and a variety of dense, small burl eyes.
- Thuya Burl has a Janka hardness rating of 1160 lb(f)
- Sold as a bookmatched pair cut from a single block. Sold as a pair. Each is at least 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8". Use sealer to bring out the color and close the pores when finishing.
Thuya grows in the area of northwest Africa and southern Spain. It is a dark brown wood with some light honey colors, usually wild and curvy grain, and varying clusters of small burl eyes.
