Timken TAK1 1/4 Pillow Block Bearing, 2 Bolt Holes, Relubricatable, Non-Expansion, Cast Iron, Eccentric Locking Collar, Steel Insert, Inch, 1-1/4" Bore Diameter

This Timken TAK series pillow block bearing unit has a cast iron housing with two bolt holes for use in applications where mounting space is limited. Within the housing is a single row ball bearing that has a wide, extended inner ring for providing increased support to the shaft and accommodating additional lubricant. The bearing locks to the shaft with an eccentric (asymmetric) self-locking collar that is secured with a setscrew. It comes with Timken’s Tri-Ply seal system on both sides, with three layers of seal protection to keep out contaminants such as dirt and grime and hold in lubricant, and the housing has a stainless steel grease fitting for reapplying lubricant. TAK series cast iron pillow block bearing units are used in industrial field applications where excessive moisture and contaminants are common, such as agriculture, fisheries, mining, and logging, among others.

Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads.
