Tire Minder's hardwired rhino signal booster comes with up to 3x the performance of the standard Tire Minder signal booster. This signal booster can be hardwired directly to a 12 or 24 volt DC power source. Booster comes with alligator clips for quick and easy installation. Recommended booster placement: motor home/motor coach: place booster as close to the rear as possible. For best results, place the booster on the undercarriage. If your engine is diesel, the booster must be placed on the under carriage. 5th wheel, toy hauler, travel trailer, boat trailer, trailer (general): place booster between the towing vehicle and the start of the trailer. The booster should be placed on the exterior, either on the king pin or the undercarriage. The booster should not be enclosed in a metal compartment. Recommended power sources: Wired directly to the house battery. 12V light (hot side of switch). Wiring harness. Any 12v or 24v â€œalways hotâ€ power source. Closet light switch (hot side). Can the booster be placed outside? Yes, the signal booster is waterproof and weather resistant so it may be attached to the outside of your rig.
