Traditional Glass Fermenting Jar, 2500ml / 1/2 Gallon with Airlock Lid
- 2500ml / 1/2 Gallon capacity flask made of lead free beverage bottle glass (Soda-Lime Glass)
- All glass traditional Chinese design with simple water airlock, no plastic or rubber gaskets
- 8.5 in. Tall x 6 in. Diameter fits nicely it a standard refrigerator
- Mouth opening is 2.25 inches
For making pickled and fermented products, the traditional style Chines jar features a simple water airlock without the use of rubber gaskets or seals. Clear glass allows you to keep an eye on your product. This jar has a 1/2 gallon capacity to match most common recipes. The airlock on this jar is extremely simple; without the use of plastic tubes, chambers or rubber gaskets. Simply add water to the rim and cap off the lid. The water creates an air-tight seal around the base of the cap, allowing naturally occurring gasses to escape, but no air to enter the jar
