- For use when RainEscape Troughs or Down Spouts overlap on floor joist, rim joist and ledger boards
- Cover approximately 50 linear feet per tube.
Trex RainEscape deck drainage system sealant is a one-component multipurpose butyl roof sealant designed for use when installing the Trex RainEscape Deck Drainage System. Its physical properties remain stable over time and in severe weather conditions. This sealant should be used whenever Trex RainEscape materials overlap on floor joists, rim joists and ledger boards. Trex RainEscape Caulk can be used instead of tape, if preferred. If using caulk, caulk must be applied between ALL product overlaps and between product and joist on perimeter of deck. Caulking can also be used in any cases where tape will not stick.
