• GENERAL PURPOSE GROWTH MEDIUM || 100g bottle of general purpose, non-selective powdered growth medium. Used to grow, maintain and study a wide variety of non-fastidious and moderately fastidious bacteria in petri dishes or culture tube slants.
• EASY TO PREPARE || Simply mix 40 g medium with 1 L deionized water and bring to a boil while stirring to ensure medium is completely dissolved. Pour into petri dishes or tubes, then allow medium to cool and harden.
• EXCELLENT FOR LABORATORIES AND CLASSROOMS || Ideal for use in general biology and microbiology laboratories and classrooms.
• APPLICATIONS || This medium will allow a wide variety of non-fastidious and moderately fastidious bacteria to grow, so it is great for a variety of experiments and science projects. Practice basic microbiology skills, or swab different surfaces to determine the relative amounts of micro-organisms present.
