This is the manufacturer's upgrade to the classic, long-burning collapsible candle lantern that has provided warm natural light to thousands of outdoor enthusiasts for decades. It is perfectly suited to backpacking, mountaineering, snow camping and similar outdoor pursuits, as well as providing convenient emergency backup lighting. The UCO Original Candle Lantern with LED utilizes one UCO 9-hour candle, surrounding it in the safest, most efficient lantern housing available. The spring-powered candle tube pushes the candle up as it burns, keeping the flame burning at a constant height. A viewing slot allows the user to monitor the remaining burn time of the slow-burning candle. It also includes a removable LED disc which snaps into the base of your lantern. The LED can be used as a flashlight or to add additional light to the glow from your candle. The LED also works as a separate pocket light or a self-standing table lamp. The LED batteries last up to 40 hours. Made in the USA.
