This is the US Solid 10 L Cryogenic Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Dewar Tank for LN2 storage. This tank uses an insulating process utilizing a vacuum between two interior walls which are constructed with aircraft grade aluminum; making it durable and long lasting. The tank comes with 6 canisters fixed to straws for storing specimens inside the container and an insulated padded cover with straps which makes transporting easy and helps lower LN2 loss. It is portable and lightweight; weighing approx. 14.5 lbs. empty (about 34.1 lbs. full) which ideal in most situations. Holding time of LN2 for this tank is 60 days.
Doctors and hospitals use LN2 for cryopreservation of blood, organs, or other biological fluids and for the freeze treatment of warts or other skin conditions. There are some other uses of LN2 for personal uses. For example, you can use it for gardening. Simply spray the weeds around your favorite flowers or vegetables and freeze them solid. Smash them into healthy organic fertilizer and mulch for your garden.
