- These 70mm bolts are the PERFECT length (Opens Clutch COMPLETELY but WILL NOT ALLOW OVER THREAD in and Over Stress Clutch Springs)
For CAN AM OUTLANDER/ RENEGADE/ COMMANDER BELT REMOVAL TOOL.
A MUST HAVE FOR BELT/TRANSMISSION SERVICE.
Installation:
THIS BOLT WINDS CLOCKWISE INTO THE ONLY THREADED INSERT ON THE SECONDARY/DRIVEN CLUTCH TO SPREAD APART THE SHEAVES WHILE COMPRESSING THE SPRING FOR EASE OF BELT REMOVAL,
THEN JUST WIND OUT COUNTER CLOCKWISE AFTER BELT IS RE-INSTALLED AS YOU TURN THE SECONDARY/DRIVEN CLUTCH CLOCKWISE FOR INSTALLATION OF THE BELT.
BE SURE TO KEEP BELT IN THE CORRECT ROTATION DIRECTION ( IT WILL BE MARKED).
These 70mm bolts are the PERFECT length (Opens Clutch COMPLETELY but WILL NOT ALLOW OVER THREAD in and Over Stress Clutch Springs).
I have used these bolts for my own Can Am ATV clutches and they work perfectly to install a new drive belt
