Digitally remastered two CD set containing a trio of albums from the R&B outfit. Shalamar were formed in 1978 by Don Cornelius, the producer and host of the legendary music show Soul Train, and featured Howard Hewett, Jeffrey Daniels and Jody Watley. This 3 -On-2 set features Shalamar's first three albums Uptown Festival, Disco Gardens and Big Fun. The third album on this package is Big Fun, and that album was chock-full of hits and dance grooves, including 'I Owe You One', 'Right In The Socket' and the #1 R&B Hit 'The Second Time Around'. This package also features as bonus tracks some of the 7" and 12" mixes of the hit singles. With fantastic sleeve notes written by Christian John Wikane, a New York based music journalist, who interviewed Jody Watley specially for this package, we have the Shalamar package their fans have been wanting for years.
