These trousers, designed as the outer layer of the ECWCS III Clothing System, are made from Quarpel-treated 35/65 NYCO fabric, light weight, wind resistant, and water repellent--as well as stain resistant. They feature a drawcord waist, six button tabs to attach to separate liner for warmth, and suspender loops on either side front. Snap-close and brass zipper fly with cord pull tab, they have 8 inch long snap-close slash passthroughs to reach into trouser pockets underneath, as well as 7x7-inch snap-close rear pocket on right side. Draw-cord leg hems are designed to fit over boots, and create a waterproof outer layer to keep warmth in, and the color blends in easily with snow.
