V&A Spitalfields Silk File Folders

These folders are illustrated with details of floral designs created by James Leman during the early eighteenth century for use by his fellow weavers of fine silk cloth in the Spitalfields district of London. These designs were collected into a bound album that is now in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
