- INTERNAL GALVANIZED STEEL CLAMP: Outfitted with a simple to use built-in cord grip, it keeps the cord secure from pulled out wires. It is adjustable for use for cords No. 18-3 through No. 12-3.
- TRIPLE-DRIVE SCREW HEAD: Three-drive screw heads for easy installation. Can be screwed in using three standard screw driver types; Phillips, Slot-head, and Robertson.
- COPPER PARTS AND NYLON BASES: The construction is made of copper parts and nylon bases for optimal conductivity. At 15 amp, 125 volt with a 2 pole and 2 wire grounding type, the tough and rugged composition makes these connector plugs ideal for repairing extension wire ends and cord ends of heavy-duty tools and appliances.
- REPAIR OLD WIRES: Commonly understood to be a fire-safety hazard, signs of a cord end that needs to be replaced are loose ends, the cord is hot to touch, one or more the prongs are bent out of shape or broken off, the grounding prong is broken off.
