- BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: Supports Bluetooth LE & Classic on Android, and Bluetooth LE on iOS. For Bluetooth LE, no pairing is required — just plug in the device, open the app, and connect from within the app. Android head units may not be supported.
- COMPATIBLE APPS: Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (recommended for generic OBD-II functions), Torque (for Android), OBD Fusion, BimmerCode*, BimmerLink*, OBD JScan, Dr. Prius, etc. Note: some Apps or in-App features require separate purchase. NOT compatible with Carly, MHD, xHP, ProTool, bootmod3, Techstream, etc.
- *APP LIMITATIONS: Model year before 2008 are not supported for BimmerCode or BimmerLink. In addition, G & U series are not fully supported for the two Apps. Check product description or App page for details.
- FUNCTION LIMITATIONS: Advanced diagnostics (ABS, SRS, etc.) and sensor data (like transmission temperature) are only available for some makes/models via specific apps. Special functions such as injector coding, EPB reset, oil light & service resets, and relearns are NOT supported.
