  • For Sit-Top Wooden Boxes: Fits toy chests, storage boxes, and tool boxes that are opened while sitting on top. Works with flat, curved, round, arched, and trapezoidal lids. Not for flip-up cabinets or flip-down doors.
  • Specifications & Build: 15mm gas cylinder and 6mm support rod. M6 quick-release head with 10mm inner hole. Mounting plates are 2.5mm thick. Made of carbon steel with eco-friendly coating. Extended length 15 inches. 100N / 22.5 lbs per strut.
  • Simple 3-Step Installation: Install with a standard screwdriver. Step 1: measure mounting positions. Step 2: attach the triangular/round mounting plates with screws. Step 3: snap the quick-release ball joints into place. All hardware included (2 struts, 4 plates, 10 screws, manual).
  • Usage Requirements: Box depth must exceed 10 inches for proper operation. When using two struts, the recommended lid weight is under 50 lbs. Do not use lubricants, as they will affect damping performance. Install with the thicker tube facing up.
