Au Revoir Simone's debut release, Verses of Comfort, Assurance and Salvation, may clock in at just under a half hour, but its eight songs reveal the engaging balance of lo-fi bedroom pop and understated musical sophistication that has earned the Brooklyn-based trio an enthusiastic international following.
