This camera is an affordable economic day night vision CCTV CMOS security camera. Built-in 36 infrared LEDs are used for night vision. Capture color pictures by day and excellent images at night. Connect easily with DVR or TV for monitoring. Notes: Near-infrared light, is beyond what the human eye can see, but most camera sensors can detect it, color camera in daylight without an IR-cut filter will therefore see a significant amount of infrared light resulting in strange colors. With a Mechanical IR-Cut filter switch, during the day this camera uses an IR-cut filter. IR light is filtered out so that it does not distort the colors of images as the human eye sees them. When the camera is in night (black and white) mode, built in IR illuminator active, the IR-cut filter is removed, allowing the camera detect infrared light reflect from the object. Note: this is a CCTV camera. It is part of a security system and need work with other equipments, like a Digital Video Recorder, cable and monitor (not included).
