- 12V FAST RESPONSE SOLENOID - A heavy duty normally closed air valve that will allow the air to enter the horn when it becomes electrically energized. An improved high flow inner core will let the maximum amount of air pass trough the valve from the tank to the horn
- 200 PSI MAXIMUM AIR PRESSURE - Ideal for any train horn installed on any vehicle with a 12 volt power source. The included compression fitting is more efficient holding the air hose at high air pressures compared to barbed or push to connect fittings
- BLACK PAINTED METAL HOUSING - The valve is made of metal which has been painted in black color to match your black horn and for an additional layer of protection, tough enough to withstand any weather condition
- EASY TO INSTALL - Screws into any air horn that has a ¼" NPT female thread air port. Includes a 1/8" NPT male thread compression fitting to accommodate a ¼" outer diameter with 1/8" inner diameter air hose. Clear instructions are provided

This black solenoid is used with air horns that require an on-board air system for 12 volt vehicles. When the vehicle's horn button is depressed, the solenoid becomes electrically energized, opening its chamber and permitting air from the tank to reach the horn. The solenoid remains engaged as long as the horn button is depressed. Air Valve is rated up to 185 PSI air pressure. Screws in to any horn that has a ¼" NPT female thread, at air port. Includes a 1/8" male thread by ¼" compression fitting that accommodates a ¼" outer diameter hose with a 1/8" inner diameter connection.
