Description

Wagashi are seen by the eye and the color and form are enjoyed. The name of wagashi describes the season. I easily drew the wagashi's pictures with waka.
Waka means the 31-syllable Japanese poem, also called Tanka. The Kokin and the Shin-kokin wakashu anthologies were written between the 8th to the 13th century. These waka were selected from the anthologies and if we found the name of wagashi in them. We touch ancient people's hearts through waka poems. In busy modern society, I hope you enjoy seeing them and have a relax time.
