How to Use: To begin measuring, allow the reel to spin freely. Press the power button and submerge the probe into the water level pipe. Gripping the steel rule cable, gently lower the probe until it contacts the water surface. The continuous beep from the receiving system indicates contact. The length of the steel rule cable at the pipe opening represents the distance from the groundwater level to that opening.
Measurement Specifications and Accuracy: The device measures in centimeters with a minimum reading capability of 1 mm and a repeatability error of ≤ 2 mm. The probe can reach depths of up to 30m (98.4ft) or 100m (328ft) for well level measurements. The sensor at the probe's tip ensures consistent measurements with minimal displacement. The probe features a larger diameter of 0.99 inches (25 mm) for easy removal and cleaning.
Operating Principles: The Water Levels Meter employs a robust stainless steel probe connected to a tape measure. When the probe enters the water, it completes an electrical circuit, sending a signal to the reel, which activates a light and audible buzzer. The water level is then determined by reading the tape at the top of the well casing or borehole.
