Water Level Meter, Stainless Steel Probe Electric Gauge for Boreholes, Tanks, and Water-Pipes, 10-500m with Fixed Probe and Steel Tape
Water Level Meter, Stainless Steel Probe Electric Gauge for Boreholes, Tanks, and Water-Pipes, 10-500m with Fixed Probe and Steel Tape
Usage Instructions: To measure water levels, allow the reel to rotate freely, press the power button, and lower the probe into the water level pipe. Holding the steel rule cable, gradually lower the probe until its contact point touches the water surface. The sounder in the receiving system will emit a continuous beep, indicating the depth of the steel rule cable at the pipe opening, which reflects the distance from the groundwater level.
Measurement Specifications and Precision: The measurement unit is centimeters, with a minimum reading capability down to 1 mm and a repeatability error of ≤ 2 mm. The probe can measure depths up to 30m (98.4ft) or 100m (328ft), making it ideal for well level measurements. The sensor at the probe's tip ensures consistent measurements with minimal displacement. The larger 0.99-inch (25 mm) diameter probe allows for easy removal and cleaning.
Operating Principles: The Water Levels Meter features a robust stainless steel probe connected to a tape measure. When the probe is submerged in water, the electrical circuit is completed, triggering a signal to the reel that activates a light and an audible buzzer. The water level is determined by reading directly from the tape at the well casing or borehole opening.
Materials and Construction: The water levels meter comprises four essential components: probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system, and reel. The probe is made from durable 304 stainless steel with a 0.99-inch (25 mm) diameter, equipped with waterproof contacts to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability in water-related applications.
Wide Range of Applications: This meter offers an accurate method to gauge water levels and is commonly used in wells, boreholes, tanks, and water pipes. It is especially suitable for assessing groundwater levels in hydro power projects and for inspectors monitoring dam body infiltration lines. The meter is ideal for both construction use and long-term safety monitoring of projects.
