Premium OE replacement water pump for 07/19/2004 & Up Ford 6.0L PowerStroke (Except F650/F750). 6.0L Power Stroke Water Pump Identification Effective with engines built after July 19, 2004, Ford made a running change to 6.0L Power Stroke (all models except F650 / F750) water pumps and engine front covers to increase coolant flow in order to offset higher engine heat rejection. As shown in the photo above, the new pump (AP63503) can be identified by a larger impeller diameter than the original pump (AP63502). In conjunction with the pump change, the front cover was updated to proportionally increase the water pump sealing area. Caution: Both pumps have the same bolt pattern but different sealing areas. As a result, the original pump (AP63502) could be inadvertently installed in place of a newer pump (AP63503), likely resulting in coolant leakage and engine overheating. (Because of different sealing areas, the new pump cannot be installed in place of the original pump.) Ford Part# : 4C3Z8501AC
