Whitecap Industries G-3360SS gas spring, stainless steel, 15" extended length; 9-1/2" compressed length. Gas spring bodies are constructed of 316 stainless steel. 0-Ring insures proper sealing to force oil toward the orifice piston. Hydraulic fluid, specifically formulated, to provide end of travel damping. Piston Assembly provides precise control during the extension stroke. Gas shocks are great to use to keep a lid, hatch or door in the open position. Over time and use, the gas used in the cylinder will naturally dissipate, therefore the shock will need to be replaced. Locate the extended length (from ball to ball) and the pounds of pressure required and you can easily replace your worn out shock with one from Whitecap. Replacement brackets and other accessories, in stainless steel and steel, are available, as well.
