W&N Artists Stretched Canvas 8X8

WINSOR & NEWTON-Artists' Canvas Board. This professional quality canvas is great for use with oil (including water mixable) acrylic and alkyd color. The 11oz unbleached cotton canvas has a medium grain surface that is ideal for all techniques including heavier applications of color. It is triple coated using acid-free sizing and two coats highly pigmented primer. Balanced absorbency and tooth prevents sinking of oil colors and improves adhesion. It is hand- stretched on 3/4-inch thick kiln-dried beveled stretcher bars and includes ample extra canvas on the back for rest retching if needed. This package contains one 8x8x3/4 inch canvas board. Conforms to ASTM D4236. Imported.
