Once dried the leaves are split into narrow strips, braided and then sewn into the shape of the hat. Most hats require 150 - 200 feet of braided palm. Once sewn to shape, the hats are cold pressed on wooden molds to create an extremely durable and flexible hat. This gambler hat features a 3.5-inch brim and a vented flat top crown to keep your head cool and allow air flow to prevent perspiration. One Size Fits Most up to 23 inches (59cm).
