Using tips:

Tips 1: Wax model is slid on the mandrel through the hole of a wax tube or wax ring model and lightly rotate in a clockwise rotation. It is used as a reamer, as the wax is turned the blade edge removes material enlarging the hole to the desired finger size.

Tips 2: Since the mandrel is tapered it will be necessary to turn the wax model around the other side to get a more consistent core size, additionally flatting can be achieved with some filing
