The P2500S is a 2-space, rack mountable power amplifier that produces 250 watts per channel from 20Hz to 20kHz. (275W @ 1 kHz) into an 8-ohm load. It will provide 310 watts per channel from 20Hz to 20kHz. (390W @ 1 kHz) into a 4-ohm load. These ratings are “both channels driven”. It is extremely clean with a total harmonic distortion and noise rating of ≤0.1%. A unique YSProcessing circuit provides optimum performance when used with the Yamaha Club series loudspeakers. The P2500S also uses Yamaha’s patented EEEngine circuitry to reduce power consumption and heat. Input connectors are both XLR and ¼" balanced. There are switchable high or low pass filters for both input channels, with continuously variable from 25Hz-150Hz. Outputs are Speakonâ, high current ¼" or 5-way binding posts. The P2500S weighs 29 lbs. Covered by a 3-year warranty; the P2500S is underwriters laboratory (UL). listed .
