- COMBINATION VISE: The Yost Vises 445 4.5-inch utility combination pipe and bench vise is made from a 30,000 PSI cast grey iron with steel U channel bar. Equipped with a large anvil work surface. Also has as a replaceable hardened steel serrated top jaws and a large pipe capacity permanent serrated pipe jaw.
- TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 4.5" (11.43 cm), Jaw Opening 4" (10.16 cm), Throat Depth 2.625" (6.6675 cm), Min Pipe Capacity .125" (0.3175 cm), Max Pipe Capacity 2" (5.08 cm).
- SWIVEL BASE: 360-degree rotatable swivel base with 2 lockdowns.
- HOW TO USE: Make sure vise is securely mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock is secure. Open the vise by turning the vise handle counterclockwise. Place item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the vise handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, continue to tighten until you can no longer move item. Don't over tighten as this may damage item and/or the vise. When finished working on the item, turn screw handle counterclockwise to release the item.

The Yost Vises Apprentice series utility combination pipe and bench vise has a 360-degree swivel base and mounts to a workbench to provide clamping action for light-duty applications. The 360-degree swivel base featuring (2) lockdowns, adjusts the direction of the jaws for proper placement. Hand-tightening the lock knob on the base secures its position. The vise has a cast iron body with steel U-channel bar for durability and has a flat portion that acts as an anvil and additional work surface. The hardened steel top jaws can be replaced when worn, and the built-in cast iron pipe jaws are grooved for enhanced grip. The jaws draw closer together or farther apart by turning the vise handle clockwise or counterclockwise
