Z-BlockTM is a water-blocking hot-melt adhesive specifically engineered for your wires and cables. This product is comprised of a non-corrosive Polyamide, high-flow, hot-melt adhesive that is simply melted by using a standard heat gun. The operational temperature range of Z-BlockTM (100) is -55Â° to 100Â°C (-67Â° to 212Â°F) and comes to you as a 2 wide and 5 foot water-blocking solution. To insure proper water blocking, wrap the Z-BlockTM one more time around the complete wire bundle. Next, cover the portion of your repair with Zippertubing's Shrink-N-RepairÂ® products, or standard heat-shrink. Use a heat gun to melt the Z-BlockTM and shrink the heat-shrink. - How to Water Block A Single Wire - Wrap the Z-BlockTM a minimum of one time around your repair and allow the Z-BlockTM to completely cover the repair area.
