The tools you need to use is a Phillips screwdriver. You can enter from the Top of the machine(easier than accessing thru door and removing tub seal), removing 2 back screws holding the lid in place, then removing the 2 front screws holding the DSLA in place. Remove the screws on the latch itself then you can reach inside the front from the top and unplug it. Remove old assembly, put new one in. You can watch YouTube videos which has great tips. After installation, ensure that the device on the latch is securely connected
