She & Him - A Very She & Him Christmas
They are the terrible duo calling themselves she and Him and boy aren’t
they immensely talented? And judging by the look of things, they will
be the centerpiece of attraction right left and centre as biggest shows
would like to feature them on their biggest festive spectacles. She and he are an American indie pop duo consisting
of Zooey Deschanel (vocals, piano, and ukulele) and M. Ward (guitar,
production) the duo is augmented by session musicians Rachel
Blumberg (drums), Mike Mogis (pedal steel guitar, mandolin) and Mike
Coykendall doing the ones and twos on bass and guitar. With their very
latest offering they have named it “A Very She & Him
Christmas” which is an amazing compilation of festival jingle s from
two of music's most impressive artists Zooey Deschanel (She) &M.
Ward (Him).Inspired by seminal holiday albums by the likes of The
Carpenters, Vince Guaraldi, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley and more, She
& Him have set out to create an intimate holiday recording of
Christmas classics that helps bring new emotions out of old songs.
The album is a must have to wrap a year with as it is a good feeling album as it won’t
disappointment you at all as here the guys have outdone themselves to
show what their made up of. And the good thing about this album is the
fact that the portion of all proceeds will support 826 National and for
that philanthropic endeavor needs to be supported to bits.
