- [What Size Hole Needs to be drilled]-36mm hole saw is perfect.The float is 1.370" (34.8mm) in diameter.The gasket is 1.44" (36.48mm) ID so figure the clearances you would like.To quickly align the gasket holes with the sender align the little bump/tab on the gasket beneath the cord on the sender.This makes it easy to align the offset holes regardless of the sender head orientation you choose for your install.
