Apple iPod Nano
5th Generation functions perfectly as an MP3 player
The good ol’ days when all
an iPod had to do was play music are well over, and the 5th Gen iPod
Nano proves just that with it’s video recorder, radio and pedometer.
Although its the same size of the previous generation, being a teeny
9 cm x 4 cm x 0.6 cm, the device offers so much more, which is what
we’ve come to expect from Apple.
Although the device itself has remained
the same size, the front has a larger 2.2-inch or 5.5 cm display area
which makes viewing your home videos even better – videos which you
can shoot yourself with the versatile device. While it has the capacity
to film, the video quality is not comparable to that of the Flip Ultra
HD – which is after all your sole-purpose
high def. camcorder – but is good for an iPod nonetheless. Stick to
the bright outdoors with a steady hand and you’ll be well on your
way to become the next Youtube star.
The nifty Nano is now also kitted
out with an FM radio tuner which comes with only minor static, and a
typical irreverence for AM. The new VoiceOver feature is great
for hearing song information dictated to you in that cold, uncaring,
synthetic voice that only Garmen once captured.
That besides, the nano functions
perfectly as an MP3 device playing video and sound in crisp clear quality
with unbeatable user interface with iTunes 9 and its Genius Mixes. The
headphones are typical iPod range which may see you upgrading to something
more Ericsson inclined.
Appearing in the same rainbow range
as it’s predecessor, the Nano 5th Gen comes with an extra coat of
ultra-stylish, polished anodized aluminum, which is cool for lifting
prints as well as looking slick. The new Nano offers more for its size
than its older counterpart, making it must-have gadget for Apple fans.
