Nintendo DSi Gives PSP a Run For
Its Money?
Finally a Nintendo handheld console
to give the PSP a run for its money. The third generation DS line of
Nintendo’s long line of consoles, the Nintendo DSi, follows the DS
Lite with some added beauty features and two interactive digital cameras,
that are integrated into gameplay or can function as standalone devices.
It also comes replete with internal and external storage of content
and online connectivity capacity.
The external storage, or SD card,
assists with the multimedia capabilities of the device while also providing
room for downloaded software, pictures or AAC audio files. Fuctioning
like an iPod/dictaphone the Nintendo DSi Sounds is a voice recorder
and AAC music player.
Both the sounds and camera software
allow the users to touch-up sounds or pictures. Live feeds from the
camera, photos taken by the camera or pictures uploaded to the console
can be manipulated and then sync’ed with social networking sites,
like Facebook, using the Wii’s Photo Channel.
The Wi-Fi adaptor allows the DSi
to connect to the internet as well as play multiplayer games when another
console is in range. Pictures, videos and software can be shared across
the wireless network between two consoles.
